Pierce had apparated straight back into the warehouse, and Kelly - Leslie? what did he call her? - immediately headed over to Cat to plead to be switched. They were the last two, as far as he knew, and though he could tell Cat was much more concentrated on her brother being back, it was just a few moments later that Kelly Daniels and Leslie Duke were awakening - in their own bodies. Pierce figured his job was done with them, but he wasn't exactly sure if he should return to the battle or not. Yes, there were still deatheaters there, but they had gotten the people out and even Voldemort had left injured. Overall, he considered that an accomplishment - and done. He was sure the deatheaters would start leaving now that there wasn't any point to being there. So instead he decided to wait at the warehouse, and help the auror who'd stayed behind out with the people there. |

Caleb was aware that Jana was hugging him. And he was also aware that it should mean something more to him, should spark more feelings than it actually did. Although there was that minor part of him, a lot of things just weren't registering at all. He knew he was there... wherever 'there' was. And he knew who was with him. That was about it, and he had no desire to learn anything else. When asked if he was all right and what happened, he shrugged. "I'm fine," he said calmly. "I was at a field, and someone asked me to stab a woman. But then someone told me not to, so I didn't," he explained, his tone matter of fact. |

It hadn't taken long before hanging around at the warehouse caused the boredom to set in. There was really nothing to do there but sit around and wait. Sam wasn't very good at that. She didn't want to be out on the front lines with the Aurors by any means, but she wanted to be at home. Or doing... anything more interesting than staring at concrete walls. After a little, the dizziness and nausea had faded a bit. So she'd gotten up to walk around in search of a bathroom. Did creepy, practically unused warehouses with dungeons in the basement have bathrooms? Apparently they did, because she found one, lost a meal she never knew she ate (at least Lina fed her) thanks to the dizzines from walking around, and ultimately decided she could disapparate from there. No one was really paying attention to people down there, so she wouldn't be worrying someone if she left. She just wanted to go home. And luckily she did just that without splinching herself. |

Kelly's very first thought when she woke up was...actually quite a obscene ramble of words. She knew she was in her own body. She just, knew. She could feel the proportions being the right size, she could feel the tone, and her own shape and familiarity. But there were a few things she didn't like feeling. Her muscles felt weak, her skin, sensitive. No doubt the bruises she wanted to ask about. She hadn't even opened her eyes yet, and things were still spinning. Her head was pounding; a pressure pinpointed on the bandage area she had seen the second they'd lowered that blue fire thing. Dizzy, sick, empty... It was irking her a little. So with typical pure stubborness, Kel opened her eyes, her lips pressed together firmly, jaw clenched, breathing deliberately slowly through her nose, and forced her shaky limbs to help herself up. All, the way up. And then she just stood there, gauging her level of ability. What, in the world, had happened to her? |

Leslie awoke with a groan but when she looked down at herself, the tattoo on her wrist was there, and as was the one on her ankle, this was her body. There were her rings, the one from Gabe, and the one from her grandma. Also, the bracelet that Gabe gave her last birthday was still on her wrist. Good, Kelly didn't upset the force. Checking out more of her body to make sure she was unscathed, and saw the necklace around her neck and she was confused. "Kelly, what's this?" She asked out loud to the girl who was her for the last month. Her chest hurt, but that was the feeling she remembered that Maddie left, good at least Kelly abided by her directions on breastfeeding only. Now she couldn't wait until she saw Gabe again. Her heart ached so abdly to see him and touch him again. Edited by Leslie Law, Sep 18 2009, 05:21 AM.

When Llian arrived back at the warehouse, the first thing he did was look for Juls amidst all the commotion. Despite everything going on, it wasn't difficult to locate her, sitting against a wall across the room. He headed to her, squatting down to talk to her so he could look her in the eyes as he did so. "How are you?" was his first question. It couldn't be easy going from one body to another, especially after that long. Llian would never really claim to know a whole lot about that sort of thing, but he imagined it would be unpleasant. "Want me to take you home?" |

Andy apparated into the warehouse on Lynx's order's figuring she'd find her cousin somewhere. Only, she saw her brother and made a bee line for him, making sure he was alright. Spending a few minutes with Carter, she looked around and saw Leslie, and she knew she was related to Emma in some way, so if she needed the side-along home, Andy would grant it. "Are you okay to get home?" she asked. Leslie shook her head, feeling dizzy and nauseous. |

Okay, so being stubborn? Really wasn't helping her much right then. The entire room was spinning, and she felt empty. Empty, and in pain, and...maybe a little low tolerance. So when she looked over and saw Leslie, in her own body, asking about the necklace, her response was a little sharp, "Your birthday present. What is this?" Kel gestured to her head, and then the bruises that she could see, both wanting to know and anxious to get back home. To her quiet life. To her kitty and her routine and her tea and not having to eat meat or get up at two in the morning to breastfeed and be able to go to the Ministry and work... Merlin, did that sound like absolute heaven. |

Almost the second after Lynx got into the warehouse, Abi's reindeer Patronus was at her side [permission to GM]. Somehow, Lynx knew that whatever the Patronus had to say to her was the source of that deep-seeded worry in her stomach, the one that had been bothering her. Sure enough, when it spoke, each word hit as heavy as a Cruciatus Curse. Her face white as a sheet, Lynx immediately called out for her husband, although her voice came out much quieter than she intended it to, a desperate almost-whisper. "Tyler.... it's James. Something's happened to James." He was at her side in an instant, and they were both gone a moment later [permission to GM] |

Once Juls had ensured Emery and Jake were okay, she realized that pacing wasn't doing much for her. Yes, she felt a little better than most people were looking at this point, but it still wasn't stable. It was just honest determination and the need to focus on other things that kept her from really thinking about the nausea, and the headache, and the sore, weak feeling. It was also tribute to how long she'd been a wolf that she felt at least remotely comfortable with it. Switching souls was a different kind of strain, but it was still something she was used to dealing with, several times a year. So she was a little better equipped for the feeling than most, thank merlin. Finally just sitting up against the wall to wait, Juls watched as people popped in and out. She might have been able to apparate home, at that point? But the fact of the matter was, she wanted to see Llian. And she wanted to be around him, even if he was just taking her home. And basically, she was worrying. Yes, it was his job and yes, she was aware he was capable and yes, it was really great that the aurors were there to help them, considering everyone's states, but she was still worried. Switching souls and rituals with sacrifices were dangerous things. So the relief she felt when Llian suddenly appeared in front of her was strong, and an instant, "Are you okay?" meshed with his own question asking how she was. Her hand had already reached out to touch his face, her eyes searching for the answer to her own question. How she was feeling right then was a lot better than she had been in a month, and so she instead smiled at his next question, hearing in that the unspoken annoucement that it was over. It was all over. "I do." |

Leslie looked away from Andy to the pendant again and smiled, eyes watering. "He remembered, I love it..." She murmured more to herself. When Kelly asked why she wasn't feeling well, Leslie conjured two chairs. One was stationary that she eased Kelly into, the other was on wheels for her to check Kelly out. "This my dear, is a by product of something that I never got a chance to figure out when I was in your body. One day I started getting dizzy spells and bruises then a few days later I passed out twice. Once in the hall way and the second time I made a collision with the desk. And if it weren't for your little phobia, I wouldn't have been tied to a piece of rock. Declan sewed me up, and as my discharge papers went in, I passed out and woke up in the circle. Make sure you get your boyfriend to look at it, make sure the cut doesn't get infected." Leslie said, using her wand to clean up the head wound and putting a new bandage on it. "How were Gabe, Maddie, Daisy and Karen?" She asked eagerly, getting impatient to see them again Edited by Leslie Law, Sep 18 2009, 06:03 AM.

Jana had expected no different. Caleb's arm resting comfortably around her back was rather encouraging, but that was it. He was dazed...and his (informative) answer to what had happened was only that he'd been ordered to stab someone and didn't. She figured that had been the ritual, and that he'd been stopped, and it was the only detail she cared about. The only detail besides whatever the bloody hell he'd been through, but he couldn't say yet. He seemed to hardly be able to breathe yet. Yet. No, what surprised her wasn't Caleb, but Catalina. Catalina didn't protest. She sighed, weary, and then acted as though Jana wasn't standing there bandaging his hand and holding him, like he wasn't holding her...she might as well have been invisible. But she didn't yell. She didn't try to pry them apart, she didn't snap that Jana had no place being there, or argue at all. Clearly the fact that they agreed on this matter actually extended...far. Far enough, anyways, that Catalina wasn't going to attempt to bar him from his side. For which she was grateful. Not that she'd have been barred in the first place. Brandin, however, appeared out of the corner of her eye, and he appeared to be holding documents. Striding straight for Catalina, and eyeing Caleb with what appeared to be both concern (ha) and professional interest (far more likely), Brandin's appearance was greatly heartening to Jana. Particularly when he explained in a few short words that he already had an antidote in mind. That it wouldn't take too long to complete-- a week wasn't too long?!--and that he was relatively sure both Caleb and Julie were going to be perfectly fine and 'back to themselves in no time'. Brandin didn't give false hope. Keeping her arm around Caleb, and keeping his arm resting on her back, all four of them disapparated, exhausted, and refusing to give up. |

Kelly was a little dazed. One moment she was standing and Leslie was being sentimental about her fiance, and the next thing she knew she was sitting in a chair, listening to some story about her getting dizzy spells and hitting her desk... She winced. "I bled out enough to make me faint?" That was...alarming. She didn't freak out at little paper cuts, but if it was capable of dripping or moving in any which way, she was usually fighting a reaction. Leslie was touching her head, and it hurt; Kel wanted to just go home, just shuddering. She...really didn't want to know after all. Leslie's comment about her 'boyfriend' just brought back something; Kel had been looking for him when the deatheaters came out of the fire. There was a pitiful amount of them, so she had been wondering if they had been hand selected, for some reason, but the fact still remained, and it uplifted her mood. "Thanks." She just said softly, sighing a little at the next question, "They're good, I think. At least they act happy. I'm sure they're a little worried at this point since I basically came as soon as I got the letter telling us to show up at the circular room if we wanted our bodies back, but they're fine." All was well. And so once Leslie was done fussing over her head, Kel stood, ready to just let the other woman go back to her life. Kel waited a little bit longer until her mind was relatively unfoggy- the pain from the gash on her head helped clear it a little - before apparating home. |

Juls asked if Llian was ok, the look in her eyes echoing the question. He nodded against the palm that was resting on his cheek. "I'm ok. Just a little bump on the head," he said. "I'm just more concerned about you." As he spoke to her, his gaze roamed over her, taking in all of her. Before he really was aware of what he was doing, he reached up, touching his own hand to her face, brushing the cheekbone lightly. "I missed you." He leaned forward, kissing her just once, softly before he helped her up. Then he took her home. [permission to GM] |

Leslie stood up and once both chairs were vacated, they disappeared as if their weight on them was the only thing that made them solid. She, herself was still dizzy, so she would have to rely on Emma's cousin for a lift back. "Thank you Kelly. I know this put you out of your element, but thank you for taking care of them." She told her, wishing she had some sort of thank you gift for her. Kelly lived a lifestyle that Leslie lived until she was with someone even now her apartment was always spotless, but she had to be mindful of Gabe, there was time to mold Maddie into her habits, so she didn't worry. But Kelly's lifestyle made sure that they weren't found out. "You have no idea how much I appreciated having you in my body rather than a sloppy person. But I need to get back to my life, you have no clue how much I miss my family." She stood awkwardly facing Kelly, then hugged her. Once she backed away, apologizing, Leslie hooked her arm with Andy's who would be taking her home. She watched Kelly go first, make sure she got away without splinching before nodding to Andy to take her back herself. Edited by Leslie Law, Sep 18 2009, 02:48 PM.
